Tierra del Fuego was a hostile territory. In the prelude to the XX century, the marriage of an omnipotent latifundista, the owner of these lands, lands taken by force from the native inhabitants and now imbued with violence, is about to take place. A photographer arrives, in this last corner of the earth, to immortalize the union. The future wife, just a girl, travels with him, she becomes his obsession. This obsession that leads him to enter into a pact, where in exchange for betraying the forces of power, he will be able to enjoy the girl’s innocent beauty. After losing his privileges due to this act of treason, his relationship to the image moves beyond eroticism as he penetrates farther and farther into a society that coexists with the genocide of the Onas, the native people of this land. He becomes an accomplice, participating with what once was his art, his photographs.
